Schiller Waterbike Spotted in the Euro Song Festival Trophy Video

Have you spotted the four meter high, 3D printed Eurovision trophy yet? It stands in front of Rotterdam Central Station and is made from plastic waste from the Rotterdam waters. A real eye-catcher with a green sustainable footprint!

The four meter high, 3D printed Eurovision trophy is made from recycled PET material from Rotterdam's waters. Something that sounds like music to the ears of our rental partner iKapitein. iKapitein actively participates every year in making and keeping Rotterdam's inland waterways cleaner with their Eco sloop and recently also with the Schiller Waterbike.

The trophy is a reflection of the character of the city, which has been driven for years by the port, innovation and collaboration. The trophy fits in seamlessly with the Host City promise for the Eurovision Song Contest #openuptothefuture. When we talk about the Rotterdam of the future, Rotterdam is on its way to a society without waste.

In addition to the sustainable and innovative production of the trophy, the trophy will be auctioned after the Eurovision Song Contest. Proceeds from the trophy will go to RanMarine, a Rotterdam based company born out of a desire to improve the well-being of the world's oceans and waterways.
